Functioning within the Health System’s mission, values, objectives, policies and procedures, the Audiologistevaluates, plans, implements, administers Audiologymodalities and procedures per State of OhioLaws and Rules Regulating the Practice of Speech-Language Pathologists and AudiologistsChapter4753. of the OhioRevised Code; Chapters 4753.01 to 4753.12 of the OhioAdministrative Code. The Audiologistwill provide leadership for the implementation of specialty programs and demonstrate professional conductthat is consistent with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Associationand/or the American Academy of Audiology Code of Ethics and the code of Ethics Chapter 4753-9 of the Ohio Revised Code. The Audiologistwill be required to assist in other areas as assigned that may include Acute Care, Rehabilitation Unit, Transitional Care Unit, , Pediatrics, LMHS Outpatient, and the Wellness Center. 

Education: A Master’s degree in  Audiology from  an accredited school is required. A Doctorate of Audiology is preferred.
 
Licensure/Certification: must be licensed or eligible for licensure with the Speech Language Pathology & Audiology  Board of Ohio in accordance with The State of OhioLaws and Rules Regulating the Practice of Speech Language Pathology Chapter 4753 of the Ohio Revised Code;

Experience: No previous experience required however, 1-2 years clinical experience recommended
 
Skills:  Strong communication and listening skills, demonstrated initiative, and the ability to multi-task are required.  Must have documented overall general knowledge of PT/OT/ST as a profession,.  Demonstrated leadership and timeliness are also required.
