| Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Speech, Language and Hearing The School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences at The University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas) invites applications for an open-rank tenure system position in hearing science in our Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing. Successful candidates will join existing research strengths in research facilities located at the Callier Center for Communication Disorders. Applicants with interests across the spectrum of basic, applied, and clinical research in hearing are encouraged; clinical and translational research programs are facilitated by on-site state-of-the-art clinical programs. The successful candidate will build their independent research program and collaborate with colleagues at the Callier Center, the Center for Vital Longevity, the Center for Brain Health, and other Departments and Centers at UT Dallas. The new hire will be expected to teach Audiology courses within their area of expertise at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as doctoral seminars broadly related to hearing science. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, or a related field (Computer Science; Engineering; Neuroscience; and/or Psychology) and show evidence of a dynamic and productive research program with clear potential for funding. Applicants from all areas of hearing science will be considered. Priority will be given to candidates with a research focus in age-related changes in hearing and interests in collaborations across research centers. Clinical credentials are not required.
