The Pee Dee Speech & Hearing Center is a private non-profit organization dedicated to providing the highest professional standards of care in the most personal and compassionate manner possible to the citizens of the Pee Dee region of South Carolina.
Our office is located in Florence, South Carolina. As a private, nonprofit 501-c-3, we have provided speech-language and hearing services to families in the Pee Dee for fifty years. The Center provides clinic and mobile based services to over 5000 individual and industrial clients a year. We are a small agency and have a staff of 1 speech-language pathologist and 2 audiologists who are supported by an administrative staff of 2 people. The population is 50/50-Pediatrics and adult population. Relocation bonus.
Provide high quality audiology and hearing aid services to our clients while promoting a positive image of the Center to the community.
Salary Range: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
Position Hours: Full or Part-Time
Benefits: Paid health insurance, annual allowance for continuing education, certification allowance, paid vacation and sick leave, 7 paid holidays and 1 week off from Dec.25 to Jan. 2, also a 401K with matching available after a year.
Essential Job Functions:
Performing audiologic evaluations on infants through adults. Testing to include speech audiometry, pure tone air and bone conduction, tympanograms, acoustic reflexes, acoustic reflex decay.
Performing Otoacoustic Emissions.
Obtaining complete medical history and writing reports.
Counsel patients regarding test results.
Selection and fitting of hearing aids with verification of fitting using visible speech mapping.
Able to use NOAH and hearing aid software.
Articulate the Pee Dee Speech & Hearing Center’s mission, values and policies to staff and clients; demonstrate commitment to mission, values and policies in the performance of daily duties.

Education and Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university with a Doctoral or Master’s degree in Audiology.
Must hold a certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from ASHA or eligible for certification.
Eligible for South Carolina state licensure in Audiology.
Experienced or will consider a strong new graduate.
