The Moog Center for Deaf Education 4th Year Audiology Externship
The Moog Center for Deaf Education is a private, non-profit center for children who are deaf or hard of hearing and their families. Audiologists provide services to children from birth to 21 years of age, and work closely with Deaf Educators and Speech-Language Pathologists to develop listening and spoken language skills. GOALS The purpose of this training program is to provide extensive experience in pediatric audiology with an emphasis on cochlear implants. By completion, individuals should feel confident applying critical thinking to outcomes-based management of pediatric patients and be independent in providing all audiologic services offered at the Moog Center.
