The Department of Speech and Hearing at Stony Brook Medicine is accepting applications from highly motivated students interested in a challenging, well-rounded clinical externship for the 2022-2023 academic year. Students will gain hands-on experience with diverse populations, including:
-Diagnostic testing (birth-adult)
-Auditory Evoked Potentials
-Newborn Hearing Screening
-Cleft palate/Craniofacial Team

University medical center
Number of Audiologists at the site:
1 FTE Masters Degree 3 FTE Au.D. 0 FTE Ph.D. 0 FTE Other Doctorate (ScD) 0 FTE professional support staff (technicians/audiometric assistants) 4 FTE Clerical Support Staff
Number of Audiology Students each year:
0 1st year AuD Clinical Rotations 0 2nd year 1 3rd year 2 4th year Externships
