Cleveland Clinic Florida, a branch of the Cleveland Clinic, is seeking a 4th year extern interested in providing care for adult and geriatric populations in a very fast-paced multi-specialty clinic setting. The opportunity includes a collaboration with the neuro-otology clinic, surgical observations (if desired), ample experiences with cutting-edge amplification from all major manufacturers and medical diagnostic audiology. We offer comprehensive vestibular evaluations including videonystagmography (VNG), rotary chair, vHIT, oVEMP, cVEMP, while working closely with physical therapy to coordinate vestibular rehabilitation.
The extern will work with an AuD audiologist, several ENTs and 3rd-year doctoral student. They will have opportunities to shadow in other disciplines such as physical therapy, participate in ototoxic monitoring and in-patient hospital audiograms/bedside exams.
Interest in aspects of medical audiology and amplification
Interests in vestibular diagnostics
Spanish language skills are an additional plus
