A Private Hearing Healthcare Practice in Concord, NH is seeking to bring on a 4th year student for May/June 2022.
The practice has 3 providers which will help shadow and guide the student. The patient base is mostly the adult population. The hours are 8:30-4:30 Monday – Friday. We are team, family oriented practice working cohesively to provide the best care for the patients.
Establishing strong rapport and trust with the patients, setting realistic expectations when working with hearing aid patients.
Audiological evaluations including Quick-SIN and Cognivue, Fitting/dispensing/repairing Hearing Aids,
Real – Ear Measurement.
Working with the team to enhance your skills.
Prior 3 years’ externships in an Au.D Program.
Providing Patient Focused Care.
A team player.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Attention to detail and good time management skills.
Good Computer skills.

Basic diagnostic skills preferred

1) Full range of diagnostic audiologic testing for both the adult and pediatric populations. 2) Recommending, dispensing, selecting, testing, and fitting hearing aids.
