We are looking for a 4th year student who has a passion for helping people hear better and enjoy life to the fullest. You are someone who is interested in dispensing and private practice!
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with and learn from Dr. Herholtz, Southern Colorado's first Doctor of Audiology. He and his family have been helping people hear better for three generations since 1957. Our successful multi-location practice offers a unique and valuable experience to someone interested in more than just dispensing hearing aids, but the operations of a large private practice.
You are a self starting driven Audiologist with a passion for diagnostics, hearing aid fitting, verification, and aural rehabilitation. We also want someone who is genuinely concerned with the best interests of those we see and has a positive personality. It is imperative to connect with those you serve not just as their Audiologist, but also as their advocate.
Those who strive for excellence in everything they do and can direct themselves in a professional environment would be good candidates.

Routine audiological diagnostics including air, bone, speech, sound-field, tympanometry, reflexes and Quick-Sin.
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
Impression taking, hearing aid fitting and verification, counseling, aural rehab.
