About University of South Alabama
As part of the University of South Alabama, we are an education and training facility for students preparing for careers in speech-language pathology and audiology. Through the USA Speech and Hearing Center and USA Health, we provide comprehensive evaluations and therapeutic services for adults and children within the greater Mobile area and surrounding communities. The Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology boasts 17 diverse, internationally recognized academic and clinical faculty members serving students through didactic teaching, clinical practicum, and ongoing research. We offer a competitive salary and a multidisciplinary setting. Interprofessional education opportunities for students and opportunities for collaboration in research are provided with other programs within the Pat Capps Covey College of Allied Health Professions as well as other departments across the University.
