Little Ears Hearing Center at Open Arms Children's Health, now part of Norton Children's ENT and Audiology, is a growing pediatric Audiology clinic. We offer a wide range of services including behavioral audiometry, sedated and natural sleep ABR, hearing aids and assistive listening devices, bone-anchored hearing device evaluation and programming, and cochlear implant evaluations, programming, and follow-up.

Little Ears has historically been known in the region for our caring and family-centered approach to care. We merged with Open Arms Children's Health, an outpatient medical center affiliated with Home of the Innocents, in 2017.  As of 10/1/2021, Little Ears became part of Norton Children’s Medical Group (NCMG) as Norton Children’s ENT & Audiology, the only exclusively pediatric Audiology clinic in the region. This integration has expanded available services and facilitated a multidisciplinary approach to care. 

Our staff currently consists of 5 audiologists, a 4th year extern, a speech-language pathologist who works exclusively with children with hearing loss, a clinical fellow SLP, and a deaf educator/early interventionist. In addition, we accept practicum students from the University of Louisville AuD program, and SLP students from the University of Louisville SLP program. 

Upon completion of the 4th year externship at Norton Children’s ENT and Audiology, the selected candidate will be well-qualified for employment in any pediatric audiology setting in the country. Our former students and externs have been employed at Children's Mercy Medical Center, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Nationwide Children's Hospital, Nemours Children’s Specialty Care – Jacksonville, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Texas Hearing Institute, and Primary Children's Hospital, among others.
