Audiology 4th Year Externship
Established private, nonprofit agency with full-service audiology clinic seeks a competent and self-motivated 4th-year Audiology student to assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages. Responsibilities include: Evaluating audiological function using accepted protocols for testing patients of all ages, ranging from newborn to geriatric Interpreting results and counseling patients or caregivers about treatment options for hearing loss and other communication options Making appropriate recommendations, as well as medical referrals when necessary Documenting patient history, test results, and recommendations for follow up Making appropriate recommendations of hearing aids and assistive listening devices,
