Full-time Externship at busy private practice near Historic Downtown Grapevine, TX! Grapevine is a special gem amidst the greater Dallas-Fort Worth metro, resting about 2 miles north of DFW airport, known for it's several wineries, breweries, restaurants, entertainment activities/destinations, parks, Grapevine Lake, Great Wolf Lodge & the Gaylord Texan, and we're The Christmas Capitol of Texas!
Independent management of a full-time, by-appointment schedule, including:
- Comprehensive audiologic procedures/diagnostic exams (for private-pay clients & MD/ENT referred patients)
- HA consult/fitting/services/follow-up care (All Brands)
- Device ordering, check-in, repairs, troubleshooting
- Optional specialty services (extern has opportunity to learn/take part in these areas of interest, if he/she desires)
- Cochlear & bone-conduction implant assessments/activations/services.
- Ear cleaning using curettage & suction
Stipend $30,000
For applicants looking to fulfill clinical hours requirements in the Final/Clinical Externship year of an AuD program.
Practice open Mon-Fri, 8:00a - 5:00p (1/2 hour break daily).
**Base Stipend = $30,000
