UAB Civitan Sparks Clinics will offer at least one externship for the 2024-2025 year with positions beginning in May/June through April 2025. Ideal applicants should have a strong desire in pursuing pediatric audiology as a career.  UAB Civitan Sparks Clinics are primarily a pediatric interdisciplinary clinic that is part of a LEND/UCEDD program. We see children with a wide array of developmental issues from birth to 18.  Our main focus is diagnostics but we also have a steady population of children with hearing loss. In addition, we staff various clinics for premature infants, adults with developmental delays as well as autism. Hearing aids, VRA, behavioral testing, OAE's (distortion product), APD testing are all included in our test b
