Adept Audiology is seeking a fourth-year audiology extern for 2024-2025. Adept Audiology is a well-established, private practice clinic, that provides diagnostic evaluation and treatment for individuals with hearing and balance disorders. Located minutes from the beautiful beaches of Southwest Florida, Adept Audiology, implements best practices and sets themselves apart by providing a patient experience that far exceeds expectations.
Adept Audiology provides a full range of clinical services including comprehensive hearing evaluations, electrophysiological testing (ABR, eCochG, cVEMPs, and oVEMPs), videonystagmography, balance assessments, BPPV treatment, cerumen management, and fitting of amplification and assistive listening devices from the top five hearing aid manufacturers. In addition to treating the adult population, we also provide pediatric services that include newborn hearing screenings, diagnostic services, central auditory processing evaluations and fitting and programming of hearing devices.
Supervisor has her CCC-A certification.

Good understanding of diagnostic hearing testing including immittance and speech testing. Ability to work in a team setting. Basic knowledge of hearing aid technology and fitting processes. Routine hearing aid clean and check.
