Elevate Audiology in Easley, SC is a progressive, award-winning, audiologist-owned and operated independent, private practice where our audiologist provides the highest quality care in diagnostic and amplification services. We are community-driven and many of our patients are referred by local physicians and word-of-mouth. We are looking for a personable, driven, and motivated extern to join our team. You will gain experience in the depth and breadth of audiology while growing your skills by following best practices (including test box and real-ear measurements on every hearing aid fitting), creating an exceptional patient experience and providing life-changing education to our community.
Experiences will include: hearing diagnostics for individuals five and up (mainly an adult practice), amplification/treatment of hearing loss and tinnitus, tinnitus management and counseling, hyperacusis management, auditory processing disorder diagnosis and therapy (in the works), community events, marketing, business practices, hearing protection. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with an award-winning audiologist and a certified audiology assistant on patient care. We specialize in tinnitus and sound sensitivity evaluation and management and have individuals come to us from all over the state and neighboring states for our care. Beyond clinical skills, you will develop your independence as a doctor of audiology. You will participate in community outreach programs and you will have training opportunities throughout your time with us, both on-site and at various locations throughout the state (and maybe the country). You will also have the opportunity to participate in our philanthropic programs, which provide free hearing care and cerumen removal to those in need in our community.
We are a down-to-earth and efficient team with regular team building and meetings to guide you through your externship. We are located in the Upstate of South Carolina just outside Greenville, SC which is has been named one of the top 10 places to live in the county.
