Professional Hearing Services a Division of Moreland ENT, Group LTD is excited to offer two externship positions for the 2024-2025 fourth year program. Join our team of five audiologists and five otolaryngologists in the Waukesha County area providing patient centered services in a private practice setting.
Seeking motivated individuals who are passionate about best practices, communication, counseling, and education. Our faced paced clinic offers diagnostic and rehab services to patients of all ages. Our diagnostic practice is split between both pediatric and adult populations. Our rehabilitative services focus mainly within the adult patient population with a small percentage of pediatric patients. We offer traditional hearing aids, BAHA, and Earlens. We do not provide cochlear implant services or vestibular testing. The private practice setting gives externs access to practice management portions of the business for those who are interested in learning the non-patient care side of audiology.
Our externship program is a core part of our business model for the past 15 years. Our staff works with externs to provide an environment of support, learning, and professional growth.
Interested applicants should be motivated to work within a fast-paced clinical setting. Communication, problem solving, and computer skills a must.
Hours will include four ten-hour days per week. Location and day off will vary based on supervisor and semester.
Applicants will need to submit resume with 2-3 letters of recommendation and unofficial transcripts no later than September 15th. Interviews will take place on a rolling basis until the end of September. Positions will be offered the month of October.
