Arkansas Otolaryngology Center (AOC) is offering an exciting opportunity for a 4th year externship in beautiful central Arkansas. AOC is Arkansas’ largest private otolaryngology clinic housing 10 ENT physicians, 2 Otologists, 2 nurse practitioners, 1 Allergist, and 11 Audiologists. Externship opportunities would include diagnostic evaluations in both pediatric and adult patients, numerous hearing aid evaluations, modifications, and fittings, vestibular testing, cochlear implant/BAHA evaluations and rehabilitation, and OAEs. Dispensing is open to most major hearing aid manufacturers. We allow ample time for diagnostic evaluations and consultations in order to maintain high quality and personal service to our patients.
Arkansas Otolaryngology Center has 2 full-time, board-certified Otologists. We have an excellent reputation in our region and a good base of referring physicians with even further growth opportunities. Our facilities include two full-time operating rooms, radiology services, allergy, physical therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and speech therapy, in addition to our comprehensive audiology department. We are looking for an individual with excellent clinical skills as well as a friendly demeanor who enjoys working as part of a comprehensive team.
Little Rock offers numerous attractions including the Little Rock Zoo, Clinton Presidential Library, Arkansas Travelers AA minor league baseball team, May-October Farmers Market, The Big Dam Bridge crossing the AR River (the largest pedestrian bridge in the world connecting 17 miles of trail), and the downtown Rivermarket District with specialty stores, restaurants, and lively nightlife.
