The Audiology Extern will provide diagnostic and rehabilitative audiological services with adult and pediatric patients under the supervision and mentorship of a licensed Audiologist. Duties expected to be learned and demonstrated over the externship year (performed under the supervision of an Audiologist): Perform comprehensive hearing evaluations with adult and pediatric patients Assess and recommend treatment plans for patients with hearing loss and/or tinnitus Complete hearing aid and/or assistive listening device fittings Complete hearing aid and/or assistive listening device follow-ups Take earmold impressions and discuss appropriate earmold options based on patient needs Troubleshoot hearing aids from a va
