Our large private practice, Orange County Physicians Hearing Services, is currently accepting applications for 2024-25 academic year. We have six audiologists (Au.D.) and are affiliated with twelve ENT physicians. We have successfully trained thirty-nine Au.D. graduates from programs such as the University of Florida, University of Colorado, University of Arizona, Arizona State University, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Indiana University, University of Louisville, Missouri State University, San Diego State/University of California, San Diego, University of Pittsburgh, West Virginia University, University of Memphis, Auburn University, University of North Texas, A.T. Still University, Pacific University, Northwestern University, University of the Pacific, Rush University, and University of Tennessee. All of our supervising audiologists are ASHA certified (CCC-A).
The services we provide include diagnostic audiometry, OAEs, tympanometry including wideband, ABR, newborn hearing screening, VNG/ENGs, hearing aid fitting and dispensing, cochlear implant evaluations and programming, and BAHA. all at a high level of competency. The patient population we serve includes a broad distribution of newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. This is a comprehensive training setting that is well integrated with ENT physicians.
Our main office is in Mission Viejo, which is located in coastal Southern California, 60 miles each direction between Los Angeles and San Diego. We also have four nearby satellite offices. Our area could be described as upper middle class to affluent, suburban residential. We have an office at our two major regional hospitals, Mission Hospital and Saddleback Memorial Hospital.
The stipend offered is $30,000 annualized over one year.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
Must be eligible for and obtain student licensure in California.
