Audiology IOM Fellow (12-month Position)
Michigan Medicine's Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Department announces the availability of a twelve-month post-doctoral Audiology Fellowship with a focus on Intraoperative Neurophysiologic Monitoring (IOM) beginning in June 2024. This is a one-year salaried position with medical and other benefits. The IOM Fellow participates in preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative evaluations of patients scheduled for otologic, head and neck, neurologic and selected other surgical inpatient and outpatient procedures that require neurophysiologic cranial nerve monitoring. Audiologists monitor more than 700 surgical procedures each year using sensory and motor evoked potentials and electromyography for patients with conditions like acoustic neuroma, chronic ear disease, trigemina
