The Division of Audiology at Henry Ford Health System is now accepting applications for five final-year AuD externship positions.  Externs train at four Detroit-area medical centers and/or hospitals for a full calendar year, starting June 2025. The experience includes the provision of a full range of audiologic services to patients of all ages.  Diagnostic services include behavioral and electrophysiological assessment of hearing and balance function; treatment services include the selection, fitting and verification of hearing aid amplification and other assistive and implantable devices. Externs are encouraged to participate in clinic-based research.  Enrollment in an Au.D. program and a strong desire to join a team environment.
