4th Year Externship with VA San Diego Healthcare System
The VA San Diego Healthcare System is excited to offer 2-3 Audiology Externship positions for Academic Year 2025-2026. The audiology department within the San Diego VA Healthcare System is a multi-site clinic. Clinical services are offered at the main hospital in La Jolla, CA with 3 additional outpatient facilities in the surrounding San Diego area (Oceanside, Kearny Mesa, & Chula Vista). Clinical experiences may include (but are not limited to): hearing evaluations, cerumen management, OAEs, hearing aid selection, hearing aid fittings with real ear measures, aural rehabilitation, electrophysiology (ABR & ECOG), comprehensive vestibular exams (including rotational chair, cervical/ocular VEMPs, and vHIT), bone anchored hearing systems, cochlear implant work ups and mapping, F
