Children's Wisconsin offers a 52 week competency based fourth year placement for Doctor of Audiology students. Externs will have a primary supervisor but also have an opportunity to learn from many audiologists at the main campus and affiliated satellite clinics. Clinical experiences include pediatric diagnostics, amplification fitting and follow-up with infants and children of all ages, electrophysiology, auditory processing evaluations, cochlear implant evaluation and programming exposure, specialty clinics and newborn hearing screening.
