We are a busy neurotology practice located in Chandler, Arizona with two neurotologists and five clinical audiologists, three of whom are CCC-A certified. Our office is a part of Valley Ear Nose and Throat (Valley ENT), one of the largest ENT practices in the United States. The Audiology and Neurotology departments have a collaborative interprofessional relationship so we can offer optimal and comprehensive patient care.
Externs will directly participate in cochlear implant evaluations and mapping, BAHA evaluations and programming, hearing aid consultations, fitting, and follow up, pediatric and adult diagnostics, as well as pediatric and adult ABRs. Opportunities are available to externs to participate in sedated ABRs performed in an operating room setting.
We function in a fast-paced environment, but remain patient-centered and provide care according to best practices. Our ideal 4th year extern is eager to learn, flexible, and can adapt quickly to change. Externs must have good written and verbal communication skills and must be enrolled in an accredited Audiology program.
Extern applicants must submit a resume/CV, cover letter, unofficial transcripts, and three letters of recommendation to bhubbard@azvent.com. Applicants: please have the authors of your letters of recommendation email bhubbard@azvent.com directly, as opposed to sending the letters of recommendation yourself.
