MaineHealth is seeking an Audiologist and Audiologist Supervisor to join their team! Audiologist Supervisors are eligible for a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus!
Current MaineHealth employees are not eligible for the sign on bonus. (Must be separated from MaineHealth system for 3 months to be eligible)
Audiologist Supervisor
The Audiologist Supervisor is responsible for supervising and overseeing all operational aspects of the audiology department, including audiology services and staffing needs. The Audiology Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the clinical workflow in order to provide the most efficient, effective, safe, and comprehensive patient care. The Audiology Supervisor will work with physicians, audiologists, mid-level providers and clinical staff to increase the volume of clinical outpatient services, referral process, patient flow, and maximize the productivity of each practice location. This role carries a caseload in addition to managing a small practice of Audiologists.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:Degree in Audiology-Masters or Au.D.
License/Certifications: Active Audiology licensure. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and have a license issued by the State of Maine as an Audiologist or be eligible.
Experience:Five years of experience in the audiology field. Supervisory/managerial experience preferred. Experience working with computers.
Audiologist
This position is responsible for providing clinical audiology services at Waldo County General Hospital. including audiometric evaluation of hearing disorders, assessment of balance disorders and aural rehabilitation including dispensing of hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Graduate degree in Audiology required.
License/Certifications:Ability to hold a valid State of Maine License in Audiology.
Experience: Clinical experience that includes clients of all ages, Hearing Aid dispensing/evaluation,
