San Francisco Audiology is looking for a full-time extern to join our team! As an extern with us, you will learn from our CCC-A Audiologists at our San Francisco and Walnut Creek locations to engage in a wide range of clinical experiences including:
VNG, posturography, rotational chair, VEMPs and vHIT
Tinnitus assessments and rehabilitation
Pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, immittance testing and otoacoustic emissions for pediatric and adult populations
Hearing device evaluation, programming, fitting, repair and follow-up for patients with:
Hearing aids
Lyric
FM systems
Bone conduction devices
CROS systems
Counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss, communication strategies and the use of hearing devices
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Research opportunities focused on hearing, cognition and overall wellness

About the Practice:
San Francisco Audiology is a multi-clinic private practice center working in conjunction with San Francisco Otolaryngology Medical Group. We currently have 10 locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area with 14 providers. Some of our clinic locations have partnerships with the UCSF Clinically Integrated Network, Contra Costa ENT, and Ear, Nose & Throat of San Mateo.
We are a full-service audiology and hearing device dispensing practice actively involved in hearing, tinnitus, balance and product development research, including serving as a principal site for Lyric development. Our mission is to go the extra mile to not only care for our patients, but educate them about the most innovative diagnostic and treatment technologies currently available, so we offer state-of-the-art hearing evaluations and hearing devices, including assistive listening devices. Our goal is to optimize our patients’ hearing and make listening effortless, while also considering their overall wellness.
