Valley ENT is seeking to hire two motivated audiology externs to join our team at our Chandler location. We are a busy ENT office with four board certified otolaryngologists and four ASHA-certified audiologists.
As an audiology extern, you will: • Provide comprehensive hearing evaluation • Perform Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emissions (DPOAEs) • Select appropriate amplification, assistive listening devices, and accessories • Conduct hearing aid fittings and orientation using real ear measurements • Counsel on audiometric results, realistic expectations, and communication strategies • Complete hearing aid follow ups, including troubleshooting repairs • Receive training from hearing aids manufacturers • Take ear impressions for custom swim, noise, and musician earplugs • Become proficient in CPT and ICD-10 coding • Obtain experience with billing medical insurance for hearing evaluation and hearing aids • Complete other various duties related to audiology and hearing aids
