Salary Details:
Stipend/salaried. Arrangements are made on an individual year basis pending department budget. We are estimated to be able to offer $15,000-$20,000 over the course of the externship.

The Hearing & Speech Center is seeking a 4th year extern to serve patients of ALL ages in our Family Hearing Center from “twinkle to wrinkle.” Our non-profit clinic hosts audiology services, pediatric speech pathology evaluation and treatment services, and a full-time early learning center for children ages 0-6. We have a long history of providing educational services to children who are deaf or hard of hearing using a listening and spoken language approach. In the last decade, the clinic has expanded its impact to diagnosing, treating, and counseling patients of any age.
The extern will gain experience in adult and pediatric diagnostics and treatment, family/patient-centered counseling, cochlear implant and bone conduction device evaluations and treatment, and natural sleep state electrophysiology. The externship can be adjusted to prioritize the selected applicant’s skill goals while offering a well-rounded experience.
