Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship: | *Independence in working with children and their families from initial testing to recommendations and follow through with other providers/school team *Independence in VRA, CPA, OAE and ABR testing and interpretation *Independence in hearing aid troubleshooting, selection, fitting and verification *Competence in cochlear implant candidacy and programming *Competence in applying critical thinking to outcomes-based management of patients. |
