Financial arrangements: | Salary Other – Please Describe We have a salary plus profit-sharing pay plan. The salary is set and paid each month. The profit-sharing component is calculated based on the entire clinic's performance and revenue. The profit-sharing is also paid each month. Our 4th year externs usually make between $30,000 to $36,000 per year. |

The amount of supervision will depend on the extern's level of independence for various types of appointments. The extern will most likely start with observation and lead into his/her own schedule once confident and trained. An individualized plan of skill development is developed for the extern and regular meetings will review the extern's progress over the course of the 12 months. |
