Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship: | Competency with routine diagnostic hearing evaluations and hearing aid selection. Familiarity with fitting hearing aids and performing real ear verification. Familiarity with vestibular and electrophysiology testing. |
