At Hub Hearing, our mission is to improve the hearing health of our community through education and clinical excellence. We're dedicated to delivering a consistent, exceptional patient experience with empathy and candor.
At Hub we’re committed to excellence in 2 primary areas: Clinical Excellence and Operational Excellence.
Clinical Excellence
Pursuing clinical excellence seems obvious. Who wants to be a mediocre healthcare provider? Unfortunately, it’s not that simple. Healthcare is complicated. Often the difference between being mediocre and excellent means spending a lot more time on things that don’t directly make money. It means integrating diagnostics deeper into your practice patterns so you’re always checking your assumptions. It’s spending more time educating patients and family members. It's listening more. It’s going above and beyond to stay up to date with the best your field has to offer in terms of treatment options and care plans. More than anything, clinical excellence is achieved by taking responsibility for good patient outcomes and taking the initiative to drive toward those outcomes rather than just reacting when things get so bad your patient finally reach...es out.
Operational Excellence
At its core, operational excellence is all about delivering the best patient experience possible. But it’s also about our team. Are they paid well? Do we provide growth opportunities, continuing education and good work/life balance? At the end of the day, we want to be part of a company we can be proud of. We want to wear cool logo wear and be confident that the company behind it worked hard to be the best they could be.
Our operational approach is simple. With everything we do we want to follow this basic flow:
1.Identify the core PRINCIPLES we believe in that relate to the task at hand.
2.Develop PROCESS and PROCEDURES that attempt to reflect those principles.
3.Implement PERFORMANCE tracking and assessment to make sure our actual work is delivering outcomes that line up with the principles we’re aiming for.
