Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship: | - Conducting comprehensive audiological evaluations including pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, OAE - Interpreting audiometric results and provide an accurate diagnoses - Developing personalized treatment plans - Fitting and dispensing hearing aids from a variety of manufactures using real-ear measurements/Verefit - Hearing aid repairs - Dispensing/fitting hearing aid accessories/assistive listening devices - Performing supervised Cerumen Management (instrumentation, irrigation, suction) |
