Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship: | Basic Diagnostic Audiology evaluation with differential diagnosis Experience with adults and pediatrics Experience with ABR and VNG preferred, but not required Basic hearing aid fitting with adult population, including counseling and follow up Good report writing skills Basic audiology foundation Demonstrated ability to manage patients independently |
