Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship: | We are looking for a 4th year extern who can complete audiograms with a deep understanding of audiology foundational principles. The candidate should demonstrate strong time management and communication skills while completing audiograms from start to finish. |
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship: | The 4th year extern should learn and demonstrate a deep understanding of hearing aids, audiograms, VNG, and skilled nursing experience. They will have the opportunity to experience all aspects of LACHB, from the business to the clinical process, in order to fully integrate as an AuD into any company after this year. |
