Our practice is dedicated to providing exceptional hearing healthcare services to the community with a focus on personalized care and innovative solutions. We have been serving Bradford and Sullivan Counties in the beautiful Endless Mountains for over 25 years. We are within minutes to the New York State border and within an hour of Elmira/Corning, Ithaca, and Binghamton/Vestal, NY. We are also within an hour to the Scranton/Wilkes Barre area in PA.
Role Description
This is a full-time or part time on-site role for a 4th year AuD student. The student audiologist will be responsible for conducting hearing evaluations, providing personalized hearing solutions, fitting and maintaining hearing aids, and offering professional guidance on hearing health and communication strategies. Opportunity for hire after the externship will be available.
Hearing evaluation, hearing aid fitting, and maintenance skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of audiology principles and practices
Experience in counseling patients on hearing healthcare
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree or 4th year Au.D. student or equivalent is preferred
Licensure as an Audiologist or HIS in Pennsylvania
Familiarity with hearing aid brands and technology
