MaineHealth offers a one-year Audiology Externship for students enrolled in an accredited Doctor of Audiology program. Audiological evaluations – adult and pediatric
Adult and pediatric hearing aid consultations, demonstrations, selection, fitting and dispensing
vHIT
VEMPs
Videonystagmography
Pediatric auditory evoked potentials
Otoacoustic emissions
Assistive listening devices
Tinnitus assessment and counseling
Adult Cochlear implants
Osseointergrated devices
The anticipated start date would ideally be June 1, 2025. The anticipated ending date is May 31, 2026. This is designated as Full Time. If a stipend will be $ 25,000
Requirements for application:
Completion of 3rd year of accredited AuD program
Letter of Intent
CV/Resume
3 Reference Letters, at least two from a clinical preceptor
