McClinton ENT is a growing, successful ENT Surgical and Otolaryngic Allergy practice in Newnan, Georgia, established in 2019. As we expand into the buildout in our brand new office, we are bringing audiology services in-house and need your expertise! We're looking for a full-time or part-time (2+ days/wk) Audiologist to help build and develop our new Audiology department. Additionally, you'll perform diagnostic testing, hearing aid evaluations, fittings, patient counseling, and follow-up care for our pediatric and adult patients. Experience with or willingness to learn BAHA implantable devices is a plus. We also currently utilize a third-party contractor to perform our VNG studies, but this may change if candidates are interested.

DUTIES:
Performs full audiological diagnostic evaluations, primarily for the evaluation and treatment of hearing loss, tinnitus, and BAHAs. Vestibular for interested candidates.
Conducts tympanometry, acoustic reflex threshold testing, and DPOAE testing.
Interprets test results and provides detailed reports to physicians and mid-level medical providers.
Counsels patients on test results and gains a complete understanding of the patient’s hearing needs and lifestyle to develop a customized hearing care plan.
Performs selection, programming, and verification of the appropriate hearing aid/implantable technology to best meet the patient’s individual needs.
Provides ongoing care including follow-up appointments, hearing aid checks, and education.
Supports the team with Audiology departmental decisions including equipment, manufacturer decisions, marketing, and audiological services.
Engages in marketing outreach with a team and educates the local community groups, facilities, and medical professionals through informational presentations regarding hearing loss, treatment options, and technology.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s or Doctorate of Audiology degree (Au.D.) from an accredited program with continuous active certification.
Current Georgia Audiologist License (or ability to obtain one by time of hire).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient, colleague, and vendor population.
Strong keyboard, computer, Audiology diagnostic, and hearing aid software and equipment experience.
2+ years of experience as an audiologist preferred.

We are part of the Piedmont Healthcare Clinically Integrated Network of both employed and private practice physicians and providers. Our practice focuses on all aspects of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery other than facial plastics. With regard to otology, Dr. McClinton performs tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, stapedectomy, and implantation of bone anchored hearing aids (BAHA). He does not perform cochlear implantation.
