We’re looking for an experienced Audiologist to join our Audiology Department. Responsibilities will include performing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and hearing aid treatment for adult and pediatric patients. The new clinician will work in collaboration with four other Audiologists and six ENT physicians. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient centered care. The position requires advanced diagnostic skills, current knowledge of hearing aid technology and experience counseling. The candidate must have a doctorate in Audiology.
Additional Details:
Advanced diagnostics include:
Audiological evaluations (including but not limited to: otoscopy, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions, puretone audiometry using conventional, VRA or CPA methods and speech audiometry)
Auditory brainstem response evaluations (threshold and neurodiagnostic)
Hearing aid treatment includes:
Hearing aid evaluations (including CROS and Baha), hearing aid fittings, hearing aid adjustments
The ideal candidate will also have experience with tinnitus counseling and central auditory processing evaluation
Required Qualifications:
Doctor of Audiology degree
Current Washington Audiology licensure or ability to transfer licensure
Preferred Qualifications:
Maintenance of the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA)
3 or more years of experience
Experience precepting students
Schedule & Compensation:
0.9 full-time position working four 8-hour shifts (32 patient contact hours), with either Tuesday or Thursday off
Pay range of $95,000 - $150,000
