The University of Georgia (UGA) Speech and Hearing Clinic offers a dynamic, 10-12 month full-time externship experience to Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) candidates in the final year of their training programs.   The UGA Speech and Hearing Clinic is housed within the Department of Communication Sciences and Special Education in the Mary Frances Early College of Education in Athens, Georgia.  The clinic provides the extern with a well-rounded clinical experience serving patients of all ages in a wide variety of diagnostic and rehabilitative services including conventional audiometry, visual reinforcement audiometry, conditioned play audiometry, screening and diagnostic ABR evaluations, diagnostic OAE testing, hearing aid consultations and fitting, and cochlear imp
