Our audiologists work closely with the physicians in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery (ENT) and other professionals to provide thorough audiology assessments and rehabilitative services. With over 20, doctoral level audiologists at multiple sites, we are dedicated to helping people with hearing loss and balance disorders to improve their quality-of-life. The audiologists at Henry Ford provide a variety of diagnostic and rehabilitative services including: •Audiometric Testing of Pediatric and Adult Populations •Auditory Processing Disorder Assessment and Treatment •Balance Function Testing/Vestibular Assessment Services •Cochlear Implant Candidacy Determination and Programming •Diagnostic Auditory Evoked Potentials (Auditory Brainstem Testing) •Fall Prevention Assessment •Hearing Aid Evaluation and Dispensing •Infant Hearing Screening and Follow-Up •Tinnitus Evaluation and Management Each year, the Division of Audiology manages approximately 15,000 patient visits, including: •More than 8,500 audiometric evaluations •900 auditory evoked potential examinations •1,200 balance function tests •Additionally, staff members dispense nearly 2,...500 hearing devices each year Henry Ford Health System has agreed to follow The Audiology Clinical Education Network timeline.
