Audiologist
Position SummaryAn audiologist is a licensed professional responsible for evaluating hearing, diagnosing hearing loss, and recommending appropriate hearing health care. At the John Tracy Center, the audiologist conducts comprehensive audiological evaluations for children ranging from 0 to 18 years old, with specialized expertise in testing infants and toddlers. When a hearing loss is identified, the audiologist provides recommendations for medical intervention or a hearing aid evaluation as needed. In cases of permanent hearing loss, the audiologist will refer the child for ongoing educational services. The audiologist collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to discuss the diagnosis's implications and offer continued support through JTC’s Educational Ser
