Health Technician (Hearing Instrument Specialist)
The closing date has been extended to 5/17/2024. The Health Technician (Hearing Instrument Specialist) is located in the Audiology Service at Coatesville VA Medical Center. The position is responsible for carrying out assignments under the direct supervision of the supervising audiologist and is under the supervision of the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Program Manager. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Experience and Education Experience. Completion of the Department of Labor Apprenticeship Program for Hearing Aid Specialists; OR Education. Successful completion of two academic years above high school that includes coursework related to the field:
