Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship: | Externs should be able to demonstrate knowledge and skill to perform the basic test battery for behavioral hearing evaluations on normal developing adults and children. |
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship: | Externs will be able to demonstrate independence in performing diagnostic hearing evaluations, vestibular evaluations, hearing aid programming and verification, BAHA fitting and programming. |
