About the Position:
Establish rapport with a primarily adult and geriatric patient population through counseling and making recommendations that best fit their lifestyle and improve their hearing. Patients stay with the same Audiologist for continuous care.
Provide Cochlear Implant evaluations, mapping, and follow-up care appointments.
Conduct diagnostic testing and evaluations including Audiograms and Tympanograms.
Dispense appropriate hearing aids, accessories, and assistive listening devices to meet patient’s needs and provide realistic expectations to ensure patient success.
Communicate with front office staff and audiology technicians to maintain a good patient flow within the clinic.
Work Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm – 3 days a week at our Vanderbilt clinic and 2 days at our Tamiami Trail practice.
In June, July, and August you get to enjoy paid Fridays off as well!
Skills and Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
Current or eligibility to obtain Audiology licensure in Florida.
Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse customer colleague, and vendor population.
Experience with and knowledgeable about multiple brands of hearing instruments.
