Are you a passionate and skilled Audiologist looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a wide variety of audiologic testing? Then look no further! The ENT Center of Central Georgia is seeking a talented and motivated full-time Audiologist to become an essential member of our team.
As the sole ENT clinic in beautiful Macon, GA, our practice is near full scope allowing us to serve a wide range of pediatric and adult patients with various ear-related conditions. This provides our Audiologists plenty of exposure to Cochlear Implant, VNG, and ABR appointments alongside our diagnostic and hearing aid services. Another perk is that our clinic provides annual externships, allowing opportunities to teach and work with students. Plus, we have an extremely kind group of doctors that support and actively collaborate with our hearing experts. Here is what our AuD team has to say:
Everyone is much kinder here at GHI than other practices I've worked in! Everyone is willing to help if you need anything. My favorite part is getting to see a wide variety of patients, so we get to utilize all aspects of audiology as well as the interpersonal collaborations with ENT physicians, school audiologists, Nurse Practitioners, and SLPs too. Plus, I get to learn more about what the ENT physicians get to work with. They are willing to let you sit in on certain procedures and answer any questions you may have about a specific case. It really broadens your knowledge when you take it over to audiology.
As for the area, I love the weather! Being from Florida, it is nice to get a best of both worlds scenario, it’s not too hot OR too cold. I got to see snow this year (for one day) and also have days at the pool! My favorite places are in the downtown area – Fresh Produce record store, The Rookery for burgers, and Fall Line for drinks. You can spend all night here!
– Elise W. Swaney, AuD, CCC-A
My favorite part about my role at GHI is being able to collaborate with a large team of professionals. We center our practice around patient care and strive to make sure that the patient is being taken care of in all aspects – a lot of my coworkers love to go above and beyond for their patients. Plus, everyone is so nice, which could be that southern charm, and if I ask a question they don't have the answer to, they will help me find the answer. It is also really easy to reach out to our representatives here. If there is anything that we need, they are quick to get ahold of and communicate with!
As for the perks of living here, I love the food! There are so many different breweries, drinking spots, and fun group activities around the area. We're so close to Atlanta too, so if Macon does not have it, Atlanta does. My favorite activity here is the Cherry Blossom Festival in the spring. It's a weeklong fair that brings the community together with food trucks, rides, a farmer's market, live music, and pink poodles. There's a lot of things to see and try!
– Hannah Wilson, AuD, CCC-A
