We are seeking a full time dispensing audiologist (Au.D.) for employment in a private practice setting. If you are driven, self-motivated, and passionate about better hearing and providing your patients with a better quality of life, if you have an entrepreneurial spirit and seek to become part of an organization that will recognize that spirit, then this is the opportunity for you.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strong Diagnostic Skills: Assess and diagnose hearing loss and middle ear function using diagnostic tools appropriate to the patient’s age, ability and special needs. Case history, listening needs assessment, test results and progress notes will be documented.
Counseling: Establish rapport with patients and their family members; discuss test results and counsel patients about treatment planning and make recommendations for hearing care solutions and options.
Treatment Planning: Develop an individualized hearing solution, including selection of hearing aids, earmolds, wireless accessories and supplies. Make ear impressions, ear molds and all necessary measurements to order instruments.
Hearing Aid Dispensing: The fitting process will include fitting, instrument programming, orientation, software modification and repairs as needed. The audiologist will answer patients’ questions and address any problems and/or concerns.
Maintain and organize patient documents, files and computer records for easy, complete and confidential access.
Participate in community education and marketing activities as requested.
Continuing Education: Complete educational programs, mandatory in-services and required continuing education as needed.
Travel between multiple office locations is required within the region.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; excellent communication and counseling skills
Professional and empathetic manner with patients
High level of clinical skill in all areas of hearing diagnosis
Excellent decision-making skills; able to analyze and deal with complex situations
Accuracy and attention to detail
The ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment
Previous experience in a private practice setting
Previous experience with Office Management Software/Audiology software (ie., CounselEar)
As a condition of employment, educational degrees and license requirements will be verified.
