4th year residency position at Center for Hearing and Communication beginning May/June, 2026

CHC is a nonprofit hearing healthcare leader dedicated to empowering people with hearing loss since 1910.  This unique facility services all ages ranging from infants enrolled in Early Intervention through geriatrics. CHC offers one 12-month 4th year residency position beginning May/June 2026 at our NYC location in the Financial District.

The position offers experience in all aspects of both adult and pediatric diagnostic audiology and management. In addition, the resident will learn to administer and interpret central auditory processing disorder (CAPD) testing.  The resident has the unique opportunity to work with audiologists trained in TRT and treatments of tinnitus. The resident will also fit, verify and validate hearing aids, FM/DM systems  and ALDs for patients of all ages.  Our resident will participate in our unique hearing aid orientation course for adults and outreach to seniors and headstarts; and will further benefit by learning all aspects of a busy hearing aid dispensary including troubleshooting a wide variety of hearing aids and assistive devices, taking earmold impressions, and dispensing hearing assistive technology while working in our Berelson Hearing Technology Service Department.
