We partner with independent and assisted-living communities to provide comprehensive hearing health services onsite, removing the barriers that keep many older adults from accessing hearing care.

Complete clean & checks, hearing aid repairs, cerumen management
Fit & program premium prescription hearing aids
Provide counseling and auditory rehabilitation support
Build rapport with patients and community partners
Participate in outreach events, community clinics, and marketing initiatives
Collaborate closely with a small, supportive team who invests in your success
You will work directly with a supervising audiologist who is deeply committed to mentorship, professional growth, and helping you develop your own clinical autonomy.

Ability to work full-time for 12 months
Strong communication and clinical skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship:
Be able to perform audiometric exam; familiarity with hearing aid selection, fitting, programming, and troubleshooting.
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
Be able to complete complex diagnostics independently; perform advanced hearing aid troubleshooting; confident/comfortable with cerumen removal; learn some marketing and business skills.
