4th Year Audiology Externship- Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring | Neurodynamics, Inc.

San Diego, CA, Neurodynamics is seeking 4th year externs who seek something outside of the traditional Audiology path. Environment will primarily be in the operating room with hands-on learning of how to set up, run, and interpret Neurophysiological data across multiple surgical specialties- Including Spine, Neurosurgery, Vascular, and Pediatric Orthopedics. We consider this externship opportunity to be the best way to become an independent neurophysiologist for AuDs- and take the externship quite seriously. We seek candidates specifically interested in being hired upon completion of the progam, in San Diego, as a full-time NIOM AuD. Neurodynamics, Inc. is a private practice comprised of Audiologists who provide Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring (NIOM) services to a wide variety of hospitals and surgeons in the San Diego, CA area. The mission of Neurodynamics, Inc. is to promote neuromonitoring for the betterment of patient outcomes during surgeries that put the nervous system at risk. This is accomplished by diligent application of our clinical skills and enhanced interaction with the surgical team. Our neurophysiologists are licensed allied health providers capable of interpreting clinical data for the surgical team in real-time without the need for oversight or interpretation by another healthcare provider. This sets us apart from the standard “remote monitoring” model that many NIOM companies employ and instead offers a direct “provider-to-patient” level of care. We are growing! And need to expand our roster of IOM providers to care for more patients.
Why come to work at Neurodynamics Inc?
Culture: We take pride in our strength as a team. The operating room can be stressful, so we aim for a relaxed and open environment in the office where we can discusses challenging cases, but also listen to music and share stories. When not in the office we stay connected through online chats to keep the team updated on surgeries, troubleshoot difficult situations, and request support. We also have regular team meetings to keep the team updated on billing and/or procedural changes. The clinical leadership split their time between providing NIOM services and making decisions to better the practice. We have worked hard to foster this culture, and it continues today.
Be part of a Championship Team: We are always seeking improvement in our clinical practice. We maintain a supportive and collaborative team environment. Our providers are consistently sharing techniques, protocols, and strategies in order to maintain our status as the best IOM providers in the state. This is why so many of the surgeons in the area demand our monitoring exclusively.
Join a group of Audiologists who provide a superior level of Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring (NIOM) in San Diego, .
